If you have your own company, especially your own startup that is seeking investment, then you know how difficult and stressful raising money can be as a founder. Fundraising has always been an intense task and a full time job in and of itself, and then add a pandemic on top of that and you can’t help but feel directionless.
David gave me that direction. With his immense experience as a serial entrepreneur and passion to help entrepreneurs, he and his team built structure and a foundation for my fundraising plan. Now I’m finally on the other side, after closing investment during a pandemic with two strategic partners I never would have met if it wasn’t for David’s strategy. I am President of Emergent Holdings, an early stage angel investment firm. Obviously our goal is ultimately to have a successful exits with our portfolio companies, and as these companies mature and need to raise new rounds or as they start to strategize towards an exit, each step they take is extremely important.
We have engaged David with almost half of our portfolio companies to provide various services such as raising capital and strategic planning, and he has performed very well for the portfolio company(and for us) each time.
I very frequently depend on David to get involved so as to maximize the return for exits within the Emergent Holdings companies. Very high marks for his service!
